Let’s have a fun and safe parade!

In consideration of and as a condition of approval to participate in the Royal Oak St. Patrick's Day Parade and/or ceremony, participants agree as follows:

• Royal Oak St. Patrick's Day Parade participants must have an Irish and/or appropriate theme to their unit, sign or float.

• The Royal Oak St. Patrick's Day Parade Committee's decisions regarding all entrants, their eligibility, participation and placement in the lineup are final.

• Participants realize that a violation of rules will result in immediate expulsion from the parade.

• Participants understand that no political advertising will be allowed. Exclusion: sitting/current politicians. 

• Elected/appointed officials are required to ride in or walk alongside a vehicle provided by the participant.

• Elected/appointed officials participating in the parade must have signs on their vehicles identifying their name and office.

• We further understand that the Royal Oak St. Patrick's Day Parade Committee and its officers or any of its member organizations are not liable, responsible or accountable for any damages, injuries or other adverse consequences that may occur during the parade. We accept full responsibility for our participation and understand that it is completely voluntary and thus agree to hold the Royal Oak St. Patrick's Day Parade Committee, officers and its member organizations harmless and blameless for any damages, injuries or losses sustained.  We also advised that obtaining liability insurance might be advisable.
